The oldest man in a balloon
 One more record was broken in ballooning or even aviation history in Lithuania: 97 year old Mr. Viktoras Asmenskas, the oldest hot air balloon passenger and probably the oldest surviving Lithuanian aviator was flown by hot air balloon.
Weather conditions for the flight was just perfect: mild, calm wind, good visibility. Balloon flew proudly over the Trakai castle, easy hit the lake, and landed at the village near Vilnius. The flight lasted over an hour.
Hot air balloon was piloted by Romualdas Bakanauskas and Jolanta Turaite, the founders of Ballooning Centre / Lithuania. It was a gift from Ballooning Centre to the legendary aviator.
Mr. Asmenskas came back home bright and full of strength! "You gave me a sense of youth. While flying I forgot my age ", - said Mr. Asmenskas after the flight.
