Tethered flight of 3 balloons
The 20th Anniversary of Baltic Way was untraditionally celebrated by Ballooning Cente. Three balloons, tethered with ropes and carrying national flags of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia flew over Vilnius.
The largest in Baltic countries – 6000 m³ volume "Utenos" and two smaller balloons rose into the sky from the old town in Vilnius. The spectators began to clap seeing such unusual view.
I speed just 3 mph balloons flew over the Old Town, St. Anne's Church, Gediminas Castle and Cathedral, and landed just behind Ozo hills.
