Pilots School
You are welcome to become a pilots of hot air balloon in the Pilots school of Ballooning Centre. This is the first and the only school preparing balloon pilots in the Lithuania. Since 1992 the school has been finished by over 70 hot air balloon pilots from Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Germany and other countries.
On 10th April 2005 the school has been accredited by EASA JAR FCL requirements (Accreditation certificate No. LT-01). The founder and main instructor of the school is Romualdas Bakanauskas, who has a pilot licence LA002.
An air balloon pilot can become anyone 16 years of age, having 2nd class health certificate of aerial medicine and having finished the school of pilots.
